Automate your training and support videos

Every release moves a button, and every training or support video that showed the old one needs a new take. Hand the script to your AI agent and it records the update.

For training and support videos

How do you automate training and support videos with an AI agent?

Connect Kirocast’s MCP server to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any agent with MCP support, and give it a script: what to show, the steps to follow and what to explain. The agent operates your Mac while Kirocast records, adds zooms, annotations and narration captions, checks the rendered frames and exports the video, all with the agent and plan you already use. When the interface changes, hand it the script again for a new take, review it, and ship it with your usual pull request and deploy. Personal is a one-time $39 launch purchase, normally $49. Kirocast runs on macOS 15 or later.

Why training and support videos fall behind the product

  • Every release moves something. A training video that still shows last month’s sidebar teaches the wrong click.
  • A support answer filmed on the old screen sends customers looking for a button that has moved.
  • Re-recording a walkthrough by hand means preparing the account, rehearsing the steps and editing the take again, so the update waits for someone’s free afternoon.
  • The person who knows the flow best is usually the one with the least time to record it.

How your agent keeps them current

Write the script once

Brief the agent the way you would brief a colleague: what to show, the steps to follow and what to explain. Keep the script next to your code or your docs and reuse it for every new take.

Your agent drives, Kirocast records

Through Kirocast’s MCP server, the agent starts the recording, moves the pointer, clicks, types and scrolls through the walkthrough. The recording pauses whenever the agent stops to work out its next step, so the video holds only the actions and plays at a watchable pace.

It shapes the edit too

The agent cuts and trims, sets zooms, circles the controls that matter and adds narration lines that appear as captions on the moment they describe. It reads back rendered frames to check the result before it exports.

Review it in the editor

The take opens in Kirocast like any recording. Adjust it by hand, or ask the agent for a different cut, a closer zoom or a clearer annotation. Saved versions keep every cut you try.

The UI changed? Ask for a new take

Hand the agent the same script and it records the walkthrough again against the new interface, reading the previous project’s annotations and narration to keep the new take consistent. Review it, then ship the file through your usual pull request and deploy, alongside the change that made it necessary.

The agent you already use

Kirocast works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Hermes and any other agent with MCP support, on the plan you already have. Set Up Claude configures Claude Code and Claude Desktop in one click; for any other agent, copy the config from the app.

Common questions

Which agents can record videos with Kirocast?

Any agent with MCP support, such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode or Hermes. The Set Up Claude menu item configures Claude Code and Claude Desktop in one click. For any other agent, copy the server config from Kirocast into the agent’s MCP settings. The first time a new agent connects, Kirocast asks you to allow it.

Do I pay for the AI separately?

Kirocast connects to the agent you already run, on the plan you already have. The thinking happens in your agent; the recording, editing and export happen in Kirocast on your Mac.

What kinds of videos can the agent record?

Anything you can script as a walkthrough on your Mac: training and onboarding videos, UI update videos that show what moved, and support answers that walk through the steps to a fix.

Does the agent speak the narration?

Narration lines appear as captions, each timed to the moment it describes, and are written to the transcript.

Do I need a license?

Recording and editing are free to try. Exporting the finished video needs a license, whether you or your agent presses export. Personal is a one-time $39 launch purchase, normally $49.

Where do the recordings live?

On your Mac. Kirocast records, edits, transcribes and exports locally, and keeps each take as a project you own. What your agent sends to its model provider, such as the frames it reads back, follows that agent’s own terms.

Less explaining.
More showing.

Your next good idea deserves a clear recording.
