Get a key
Buy Kirocast once and you get the Kirocast license, including all updates. Your key arrives in the confirmation email and looks like APP-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
Activate Kirocast
The activation window appears in two places: on the last page of the welcome, and the first time you export. Paste your key into License key and choose Activate.
The Kirocast menu bar icon then reads Licensed with your plan, and every export from that point on is yours.
Choose Lost your license? in the activation window. It opens the License Manager: sign in with the email you bought with and ask for a fresh key there.
The License Manager
The License Manager shows every license on your email, each Mac it’s active on and when that Mac was last seen. Sign in with the email you bought with: a sign-in link and a 6-digit code arrive in your inbox, and either one gets you in.
From there you can deactivate a Mac, or choose Lost your key? Email me a new one for a fresh key. Macs already activated keep working as they are.
Move to another Mac
- On the old Mac, choose Deactivate This Device… from the Kirocast menu bar icon. Its slot is free again.
- On the new Mac, install Kirocast and paste the same key.
Old Mac already gone? Deactivate it from the License Manager instead.
Reactivate
Kirocast checks in with the license server from time to time. If the menu bar reads Activation expired, choose Reactivate… while you’re online and paste your key again.
